  I am sorry to say that it seem obvious that Alf is of the opinion that
the policy decisions should not be driven from the AL, but from
the elected representatives with or without the AL's members consent.
As such it is our belief that this came out clearly from Alf's comments
while the election was underway and from the subject line of this
thread.

  With this as a backdrop, as spokesman for [INEGRoup] I would like
to address some of your points below, Jefsey....

  Indeed the real boss as you put it is or should be the Stakeholders,
(Your term users).

  Agreed.

  And this is a bad alternative.  But one that has thus far been predominant
and one that it seems Alf would prefer.

  A likely scenario should the current alternative remain the status quo.
Also this would not be good for the "Stability of the Internet", which is
a priority of the White Paper and mandate for ICANN.

  And fortunately for the AL member and stakeholder Alf was defeated.
