Christian and all,

  My reference was not in any way related to Bablefish (Whatever that
is?).
So I am finding it difficult to see the relationship to my comments.

 Indeed there are a number of E-Mail translations software packages
around.  We use several, and one of our own as well.  They work
very well for most languages.
