Thank you Joop, for setting me straight.

    I am sorry that you have tried "diplomacy, been there and done that"
without success. I just doubt that the currently touted alternative will
succeed in it's place. I hope that am I proven wrong.

    I have subsequently learned that Richard has multiple communications
skills and that the attack version which triggered my response was a
targeted smart bomb with a calculated payload.  I did not have the strategic
knowledge to accurately assess the acceptable levels of collateral damage.
And, coward that I am, I did not want my name on each of the innocent
victim's headstones.

    Simply put, I am about as dedicated to the cause as any average user
would ever be, and I would prefer such overt attacks to be clearly explained
so that us "average Joes" understand the reason why we must accept such
carnage. Perhaps that way we can avoid becoming collaterals and stay with
the program. As for the benefits of covert operations, well... everyone has
the right to speak as an individual :)
