Joanna's nomination of Hans and my non-nomination has convinced me that I do not enjoy the confidence of the Panel... Mr. Morfin's comments on the atlarge-discuss list are also quite disturbing and I notice that I am quite unsupported here. Just goes on to show that though we have 3 Asian members on the Panel, the show is still US-Europe run.

Vittorio is the only one on the Panel who reacted negatively to the vote. I am glad to see that Satyajit Gupta stepped up and did something when it mattered. Well done folks!

Indeed, the Panel and the Members must needs work together on this one, but the more we have working the better our final product will be.

Agreed... First, I think you're right, Vittorio finally expressed his "extremism". Secondly, I do believe his input can be useful if he participates in a positive and constructive manner to help us move along in an expeditious manner.

Sincerely,
