[atlarge-discuss] Andre Rebentisch's position - and the constitution

"Look at the output of the panel. What have we archieved yet, what do we
want to archieve? The latter I cannot answer. I guess Sebastian looks at it
as I do: a waste of time." Andre Rebentisch, July 8th.

Andre clearly felt at odds with the way things were proceeding. He disliked
what he called the high volume 'noise' on the list, so he switched to
receiving mail from the list in periodic 'digest' mode, and thereby missed 3
votes in a row.

I believe the Panel regards itself as within its right to dismiss a second
panelist for breach of panel rules.

These 'summary dismissals' without reference to the membership highlight
once again the need for a "Constitutional Relationship" to be established
between the Panel and the membership.

Once regular Polling begins, will the Membership have the right to veto
Panel decisions or re-instate people?

Who will (constitutionally) have the final say on current issues : the Panel
or the Membership?
