Welcome! And join the crowd! :)  Many of us hope Jamie will reconsider.  We
need people with his conscience at the helm!

My wife's family in Thailand are in the same situation as you: their only
access to the Internet is through a public terminal.  Ditto Eric's "kids" in
Vietnam.  You folks should be the ones we work hardest to accomodate, to
ensure you are equally represented in our membership.

Indeed.  And those thousands will someday be millions as the Internet moves
deeper into the Third World. I for one keep you folks on the "fringes of the
Internet" in the back of my mind when discussing issues in this forum.
