Danny, Joanna and all stakeholders or other interested parties,
I must say that I disagree with the sentiments of both Joanna
and Danny here.
Joanna, yo r position is untenable first because if you want good
outreach and new members in ICANNATLAGRE.COM
some, such as Danny, will want to see the true colors of the
organization first. And they are not asking too much to
to see such either. Second, because Danny, amongst
many other stakeholders/users have a responsibility to
themselves to express their views openly on any ICANN
related forum if real transparency is to be considered
part of that forum.
Danny, your position or attitude although may be accurate,
it may also be inaccurate as well. Not all of the ICANNATLARGE.COM
members are "ICANN Cronies" and desire an At-Large that is
open to any and all stakeholders/users, to elect representatives,
and actively participate in policy decisions directly as well.
Now it is true that ICANNATLARGE.COM does have members
that are only interested in some leadership position that is favorable
to the ICANN staff and BoD and their own self aggrandizement.
They are easy to see and identify. As a member you can point
that out to the other members, and also NOT vote for them
to represent you as a member, as well as if any(ICANN Cronies)
are elected in this upcoming election, you can just leave the
ICANNATLARGE.COM.
