I don't think we even need to vote on this. I've already mailed the
watchdogs and Joop to be sure that they will:
- ask the statements to candidates; (watchdogs)
- put them up on the website on the 23rd; (Joop)
- prepare an e-mail with all statements; (watchdogs)
- send it to all members before the vote; (watchdogs or myself)
- promptly export the voters list on 22nd midnight. (Joop)

Just a couple of details - I think 75 words is way too short, you can
barely say what's your name :-) so we should have 3-400 words, I
think. And I don't think we should put it in the ballot - we could end
with a ballot message of 50-100K and I don't think it would be
advisable; we should send it to voters in a separate message and point
to it in the ballot message.
