Completely agree. This is one of the reasons why I have always pleaded that
the organization *employ* professional staff, just like ALOC is employing
Denise.
Even though my work has been helped as a private person by members
privately, I have made a beginning establishing a pattern of public
accountability that I would like to see maintained by a new webmaster in
the future.
Enough members have pledged willingness to support the self-organization
financially. ($7480 worth of individual pledges by the latest count)
This is the evidence of self-sustainability that we have.

That should be feasible from around 3000 members and up.

Good questions that I too would like to hear candidates' opinions on.
But the "where to incorporate" could be such an endless, divisive and
fruitless debate that I would almost rather prevent it by simply presenting
the incorporation as an accomplished fact.
