Re: [atlarge-discuss] Question to Jamie

Joop:

1. Regarding subscriptions to the panel mailing list, I would prefer if (a)
the archives are public (they are), and (b) *anyone* could subscribe to
receive the postingsf in real time. I am ok about having restricted
*posting,* to have a clean archive of panel decision making. If (b) is
not possible, I would at least provide anyone who is acting in a staff-like
capacity the ability to get the panel mailings (as do TR and Alexander now),
but I haven't thought too much about the details.

2. Withregard to who runs the web page. I think the panel should be able
to make decisions about the management of the web page, including for
example decisions about who will manage the page, and who if anyone will be
hired if there is any money for this down the road. I think it would be
best if someone other than a panel member actually does the web page, and
more generally I would not want panel members to also be paid for any
services to icannatlarge.com, although one could imagine some future
scenarios where panel members (or others) could get some travel
reimbursements (but not salaries or fees).... if and when the organization
actually has a budget.

Jamie

In my opinion, it would be best
