RE: [atlarge-discuss] The elected icannatlarge.com panel

Thank you to everyone who participated in this important election, and
especially to those who gave me their vote of confidence. I am surprised and
delighted to be elected, if a little nervous of taking on this awesome
responsibility. Congratulations to all successful candidates and
commiserations to those who did not make it this time round. We still need
your input and I hope that we can still rely upon your expertise. We are
extremely lucky to have Elisabeth's continued Secretariat support in this
organization and tracking all those ballots is not an easy job for the
Watchdogs - I know, I've done it - so thank you to them.

I am mindful that we need to move quickly on the ExCom to address a number
of urgent tasks, and it is inevitable that some decisions will have to be
made on your behalf, so I would encourage everybody to review the topic list
at http://www.fitug.de/atlarge-panel/0208/maillist.html
from time to time and contribute to the current discussions, so we can get
the much needed feedback from the membership at the appropriate time.

The current topic under discussion is electing a Chair and Alt Chair from
amongst our number.

Regards,
Joanna
