[atlarge-discuss] 006 Vote to chose organization name - Parts 1 & 2

Dear Long Suffering Members,

I commend the details submitted to the Panel for the forthcoming vote in
relation to the choice of organization name, posted at
http://www.fitug.de/atlarge-panel/0209/msg00034.html and
http://www.fitug.de/atlarge-panel/0209/msg00035.html. Absent any objections
by the majority of Panel members, this vote will commence on Saturday 7
September.

For those who may have been experiencing doubts as to why they are still
participating, I would just like to share something that has reassured me
today.

"This organization recognizes that the general user is going to be
disenfranchised by everyone else who has a hand in the pie. If we accomplish
nothing else, we can disseminate information that will give a different
perspective to the one emanating from ICANN. Hurdles are being placed in our
way at every turn and in order to work around them, we require resources
that we do not have. It is tempting to give up, but our priority is to keep
moving forward in the full and certain knowledge that the impact of our
efforts is cumulative."
