When I had to draft the charter for the first elections, and then the one
for these ones, I took care to insert provisions to avoid that this kind of
event might stop us for weeks or bring us to discussions about what would be
right to do (though, to be honest, I'd never have imagined that a Chair
could really resign). So, as Richard already pointed out, we simply have to
re-fill the Panel, vote a new Chair, and go on working.

Hans Klein, as Alt Chair, has to lead this. He wants to talk with Joanna
today or tomorrow, and this is fine with me if it does not delay the process
by more than a day. However, I hope that the people that should replace them
in the Panel will accept as soon as possible, so that we won't lose too much
time. We already lost too much of it.
