Show us one case, one statute or one ordinance that backs you up.

No, the joining of a "loose" association does not infer liability upon a passive
member.
Now active panellists and web masters may be a different story.  Or if we were
planning criminal activity that might be different.  But I challenge you to find a
single defamation case throughout the world that has what you have in mind as
liability,  Hint- you may want to get close with the KKK in southern USA, but not
applicable.
Come on! get real.
