    This is not always the case, Danny.  Registrants will not INVARIABLY
receive correspondence.  Often the Registrants will receive NO response at
all.

    In the case of VeriSign, the registrant receives a convoluted message
that essentially says:
 'we don't want to lose you, and if you take the wrong action here (or no
action) we will not let you go'.
    The only "right" action is to read through a long and confusing text
that, at some point, requires you to locate and copy a text string to an
email message that must be sent to VriSign.  Even then, they send another
message requiring you to confirm your request.

    I have a client who has spent the past 9 weeks attempting to transfer a
domain from a Puerto Rican reseller (SAYNET) and the French registrar GANDI
to a US reseller (VERIO) and the registrar Melbourne IT.  The transfer ended
up with GANDI changing the Administrative Contact and the Technical contact
to themselves and now the owner gets no response from anyone.

    The domain is due to expire on Sunday October, 20th at 00:00:00.  Do you
have any idea how I might resolve this issue?
