Re: [atlarge-discuss] web page
Dear ¨Panelists,
Since Jamie has resigned as WG-WEB, I suppose I am the next in line as I
assumed the Interil before on Hans suggestion. Please anyone wants to
object do it asap so we may proceed.
1. I am willing to do that for two weeks and Iimmediately call for he
Members who want to participate (please tell us) and will run a Chair election.
2. I support Bret' s proposition as long as "what's is icannatlarge" is
purely informative and not presented as a msssion statement. I suggest that
the text adds the number of members and the countries they come from
(number). And mention that there is an elected paner.
3. I suggest that (3) is a list of the panel members as indicated either
linking to a mailto or to an URL they will provide Bret with. Mine will he
http://jefsey.com/atlarge.htm I will write it tomorrow.
4. Since Hans has been the most active on the Shangai issue, may be could
he manage the press part on Shanghaï.

Why don't we keep it simple? I see no reason to present anything even
remotely controversial on the homepage. Of the four headline boxes, I would
recommend that 1 and 4 present information like:
(1) Headline: What is ICANNAtLarge.org?
(4) Headline: Join and Participate in ICANNatLarge.org.
Use (2) and (3) to highlight current developments. (2) might be a link to a
press release about Shanghai. (3) might be a link to the names and countries
of residence of the elected panel members.

P.S. I'm not going to post anything absent instruction from someone
official. Who might that person be? The entire panel or the head of the web
site working group?
