I concur fully.  I cannot think of a single thing, not one thing, that a 
us@large group could do for me, that a global @large group, if well 
organized, could not.  And never mind the ICANN-styled regional groups.  
What would be the motivation to join such a thing?  But our elected panel has 
been slow to discuss and slower to act.
