That is irrelevant.

If you think about it that way, every bloody dictator can easily
defend himself by taking his own people as hostages.

Because those people are NOT the target, they are just in the
vicinity of the real target.

Yes, the british people have a real good historic record with
appeasement

I really dont know what the CIA is capable of.
But I am sure I couldnt kill Saddam, so that is out.

Is there really anything the west can do to dicourage islamic
terrorists?
They wont stop until they have the world in their hands or they are
killed.
I prefer the second solution.
