Just for precision - I did not "let down" anyone. We went to the point
where only three people were actively participating in the Panel, all
the others had resigned, and the remainder of the Panel unanimously
approved to have new elections. So I stepped down, and one minute
later the remainder of the remainder of the Panel started to say that,
after all, they were still legitimate in taking decisions for the
organization even before a new election. Please pardon me if this
smelled like capture, so I looked for someone else to set up the
election.

Of course I seem to have strongly discontented both you and Jefsey,
but I would have been much more worried about the correctness of my
actions if I had discontented just one of the two parties :-)
