The difficulty with this approach is, that there *is* no Panel any more.
At this stage the collective agreement on an election process of Bruce, 
Jefsey and Eric (with all respect for them) is less relevant for the 
membership than the collective joint opinion of the members themselves.
Hence the necessary pre-election Polls.

Allowing a precedent of *remaining* Panel members to make rules is just the 
same as the coup attempt that hit the IDNO when its first Steering 
Committee collapsed and the 3 instigators of that collapse started to 
promulgate "Bill -001, Bill002 " in total disregard of the required quorum.

Sorry, you are wrong. This mailing list is not equal to the "interested 
members".
People who responded (or did not respond) to your mini poll were not made 
aware of the actions you would take arising from the results.

What especially concerns me is the attempt to withhold legitimacy from the 
membership-wide Poll by deliberately disenfranchising the latest 29 members.
The privacy argument rings particularly hollow with an organization attempt 
like ours.

I am especially concerned that one of the watchers in the membership-wide 
poll would participate in that by following your lead.

Vittorio has chosen his recipients of the members-list with precise 
calculation.
