Re: [atlarge-discuss] Last Man Standing

Whatever happened to simple good manners and respect for others?

Yes the world has changed, and one of the most interesting and desirable
benefits that the Internet has provided is the universal ability to
participate in debate on any subject. Since the primary purpose of our
organization is to promote and encourage at-large user participation, it
behooves us to read and consider every participant's contribution.

It is unfortunate that some participants will demonstrate their intellectual
or social deficiencies by resorting to defamatory and vituperative comment,
but the delete button is always at hand. If we encourage those who read
these messages to simply delete and ignore whatever they find offensive,
rather than to clog the list with angry reaction, we will surely keep the
distasteful postings to a minimum.
