May I suggest the Estonian case? I think it is really worth investigating.
They run the Cabinet Ministers meetings on the net and everyone can
attend and participate. This seems quite sophisticated. Ech Ministry
has a screen he may use to dialog with his staff (for looking a docs,
etc. or to show docs/slides to the other Ministries). There is a place
on the screen for "SMS" from the citizens and the meeting is on TV.
Seen a TV show on that one year ago. I proposed ICANN to work along
those line when I was candidate to the BoD.
We are the @large, ie a good force to evangelize our markets if we
are pleased. Why not to cooperate with developpers to define a new
community agora system. Trying to find a working compromise between
the mail, the forum, the archives. Mail was oprating the same 30 years
ago. May be time to improve the concept, not only the versions?
Would you not, candidates, want to see the Panel as a catalyst in
such a market demand research ? IMHO if it succeded as the
"@large agora system" that ALAS would take quickly on the ALACK.
