Hi Sotiris -
I have just sent $1.00 to Joe Borda by Paypal. Since he is the only
person so far to have been nominated and seconded for the chairmanship
of the Membership Committee, it seemed logical to send it to him.
I just want to remind you that technically speaking, you did not send
anything to Joe G. Bordo. You sent it to his mother and she is not a
member of this organization.
No, actually my mother IS a member of @large. You will find her
http://www.icannatlarge.com/view.php?sortorder=chrono as Schcherba-Borda,
Mary M., From Henry, United States.:)
I'm curious, did your mother vote in the last election, or did you vote
for her?
No, mom did not vote this time. I forgot to remind her. :(
And as the PayPal account is mine and under my control,
That is not entirely true. While the account may be under your control, it
is not your account.
What's important to me is that I created it, I use it, and when I'm through
with it I can delete it.
Interestingly, your obstinate and obstructionist "technical" argument over
what everyone else can recognize as a trivial matter reminds me of my first
experience with running for public office. While I was to be 21 by the day
of election and therefore qualified to run, shy of that day community
officials obstructionistly declined me access to the community's public
records using the excuse that I was not yet 21. :)
So I obtained my parents' power of attorney to examine the very same
records. Question: Was it my parents looking at the public records, or was
it I? By your argument it obviously had to have been my parents, because I
was not yet 21. :)
In the ad hoc V&C committee, each of us on the committee examined each
others credential submissions. When will those of us on this new
provisional committee have that opportunity?
What kind of "credentials" did you examine?

You (and everyone else has) have had the opportunity to examine scans of my
driver license and passport, and have not challenged them as being altered.
Therefore I must assume that you find them acceptable.
Martha and Jeff also submitted driver licenses, which all of us were
satisfied too were not altered. We each submitted photos as well. Martha
went the extra and creative distance of creating a montage against the
background of a recent edition of the New York Times.
I repeat my unanswered question: "When will those of us on this new
provisional committee have that opportunity?"
