Yes, we need to respond to this!  Each registrar should be allowed to manage
expired domins registered through them.  But more importantly, policies need
to be put in place to protect domain name holders from losing their domain!

|  I find it odd that Mary Hewitt of ICANN would be telling the press "if
|  I don't get it, I don't pay any money", as there are no refunds if a
|  WLS slot fails to get a name. Also, Verisign's spokesperson describing
|  some individuals as "professional scalpers" was cute. I'd be curious
|  what colourful language he'd employ to describe P&G's usage of
|  Beautiful.com, especially if they won't sell me the domain for $35...
