Currently I observe how the SO directors are nominated. So I answer: I do
not see an evidence for the requirement of technical experience.

I'm sorry for allow this impression to come up. Besides my job I'm involved
in several activities dealing with 'user's rights'. Please try to search for.

The company I work for is not as large as needed. AFAIK I#m not a member of
a lobby organisation driving the approbriate SO. (But proposals for
nominations are still possible at least or ASO.)

It should work stable and query only for possible changes. Nobody will
follow a dumb ICANN decision.
