Paul, It's not just you. As someone who has participated in various ICANN
fora for a number of years, I agree that the volume of unproductive posts
from a minority of subscribers is what makes this process difficult for
everyone, not just those who are new to it. We're all unfortunately subject
to the tyranny of the minority, the tyranny of the loud.
Over the years, I've learned who to block and who to read, but it's not easy
when you're new. I just check my filters and I have twenty-seven people
blocked, twenty-five of whom I came across on ICANN-related things. It's a
shame that twenty-five people can make this an unproductive forum for the
hundreds of registered participants. I would recommend using your mail
filters to block those who have nothing to say. It will make this forum
easier to handle.
