Yep, that's my view.

The process is a con.

It is, as you indicate, Denise and Esther creating a semblance of discussion
in order to satisfy the critics of DoC and ICANN who rightly protest at the
removal of democratic representation and user interests from the Board.

It is a "fake" At Large.

It is a trick.
