Dear Soeren,

I think the whole point of this uproar is that none of this should be
necessary in the first place.  The exercise in creating this new
atlarge.ws list was undertaken without proper authorization and is a
duplicate of the existing Atlarge-discuss@icann@large.org which has been
in use since the beginning of this organization.  The fact that is was
created AT ALL without the PRIOR authorization of the Membership OR the
PANEL-ELECT is the contentious ingredient.  Going through the process of
obtaining a "password" to unsubscribe oneself from a List to which one
never subscribed in the first place is objectionable to many.  While I
would hope the original List does not lose subscribers, the duplicate
List is totally without merit.

Near end of the page you put in the Emailaddress with which you once in
the 
past subscribed yourself (or who did it?) on the IAL ML.
(Look in the Header if you use a forwarder)

Press <Edit Options>

On the next page you have to klick the <Email My Password To Me> button.

Check your Email.

With the password from that mail you can unsubscribe from both list. 
Its just that easy.
