While this might be seen unfortunate, in all honesty, if other countries
don't care it's just their problem. I, too, find it bad that some AMM gets
so many votes because he manages to get on tv so often, but this shows
that the net.community is more active there as well, and thus they just
deserve more votes.
The press disucssing only german candidates is really bad, though, but
I think this is a generic problem (does non-german press not favour
non-german candidates?), and is only magnified by the larger amount of
dicussions in germany.

Good question. This means you distrust the german candidates just because
they are form a country which is more icann-aware than others. This is
not o.k. Except for AMM (who I distrust of being fair even to germans), I
think the german candidates (the more successful german candidates) are
well up to the job of being "european".

Hey, my site is just... english. Isn't that bad, favouring uk over the
other countries?

You have to decide on a language, or use many languages, which is a major
workload.
but, hey, good idea, maybe I draw even more votes (that I don't want!) by
translating my pages to german. Maybe I draw less votes when I translate
the "vote Lutz Donnehracke instead" into german... (*thinks*)
